What do you think of Jean Michel Jarre's attempts at playing the Therimin? during Oxygen in Moscow, 12 DOTS etc...
A few years ago I saw a documentary on Leon Sergi Thermin, the Russian who invented the Therimin way back in the 1930's. With him he had a female musician who played this instrument beautifully, I think Mr.Jarre is correct in resurecting such an old and beautiful instrument - it's not an easy thing to master, just try it.
Apart from the Beach Boys apparently using one on Good Vibration's (although the video of the song shows one of them playing a Moog ribbon controller) who else uses this retro instrument?
